High Stakes is a stoner comedy about "Fisher", a kid who starts selling drugs to make more friends. Grant plays "Bug", one of the guys Fisher tries to sell to. Bug is the rock of his friend group. He never feels he needs to prove himself to the others. Fisher is the opposite of Bug, trying desperately to fit in. He's the last person that Bug wants to invite to their friend group. But, as long as he's got weed, Bug has no choice but to let Fisher hang.
